... Areas of frost are expected overnight across southwest Virginia... northeast Tennessee... plateau... far east Tennessee mountains and southwest North Carolina...
A ridge of high pressure will continue to build into the southern Appalachians overnight producing mostly clear sky and calm winds. The dry airmass across will allow temperatures to drop into the middle and upper 30s across sheltered valleys by daybreak Friday producing areas of frost.
Nurseries... growers... and gardner's will need to protect outside plants from the potential of frost tonight. Please stay tuned to your NOAA Weather Radio and favorite radio and TV stations for additional information.

Shoulda issued one yesterday too - scattered frost in lots af areas this morning.
Boy, the NOAA five day is way off then. One would think they would correlate what is shown on the five day with the SWS.
